Rekindled my love for anime this week. Enjoyed a nice two days off at the mere cost of working some 24 hour shifts every few days along with my 10-12 hour ones. In the last week I managed to watch Elfen Lied, Blue Drop, High School of the Dead online and then my DVD's arrived so I watched Air, Samurai Girls, and Nyan Koi. All were pretty great (Air was amazing, the online ones I had seen before and the other DVD's were good but Nyan ended needing another season, similar to HOTD).
Fortunately I still have Clannad(seen it, loved it), Sekirei(saw it once) and Kanon as well as Vandread, Claymore, Witchblade, Linebarrels of Iron(saw all of them...) Grenadier and Infinite Stratos currently in the mail.
Crazy amount of anime I feel but it allows me to get away from the smell and dust of Afghanistan for a few hours each day so I have nothing but joy with that. Plus, with the lack of things out there to stir my emotions other than accomplishment, boredom, and annoyance... it's nice to laugh and even tear up occasionally.

I might have to check out this "anime" you speak of to see what the fuss is about :p I do love Deathnote though

I definitely recommend Clannad. It's full of hilarity and sadness wrapped perfectly in a wonderful story. Once I get back to the US I will definitely check out DeathNote.
