For all the good itll do me to be away from a classroom for a few weeks, it is going to be murder on my internet life. No school means all the highspeed wireless hoo-hah Im gonna get is from coffee shops and sidewalks outside residences with unsecured signals (yes, friends, thats me huddled behind the wheel of my car) or sidewalks outside coffee shops....

Why is it always so dangerous, so depressing, to be alone with my thoughts? Do other people have this problem? If Im not communicating with someone else about how great life is, or how much Im looking forward to tomorrow for example Im communicating in my head about everything that is wrong, scary, or potentially upsetting in my life. Its a worse-case-scenario factory in there,...

I have exactly that problem. I've not really found a good way out of it, except writing helps me a lot. In my situation a lot of times, instead of expressing my displeasure with other people or events or problems, I'll just find a way on my own to make things better. It's a very self centered, self determined way of doing things. Probably not the best solution.

I need to atone.

A friend and I were exiting a Target the other day. The fourth season of Seinfeld was still on sale. Making their way in was a group of mentally retarded teenagers and adults on a field trip, I guess. Their caretakers were doing a decent job teaching them to step to one side and make room for other bargain shoppers. One...

Let me share a little something about my first (and only) camping experience.

I was in sixth grade and a Cub Scout. Cub Scouts, the junior class of ever-prepared Boy Scouts worked like this in the Richmond-Avenues district of San Francisco: we would meet up once a week at Aaron Chin's house, play video games all night, eat a lot of pizza, and wake up...

We were lovers in the beginning, but it never took. Wayne wanted The Great Dark Man, and I, typically, wasnt up to it. We lived together for a while in a flat below Coit Tower in its pubic hair, as Wayne put it and even after the sex had died we indulged in sentimental gestures. I would wake late, long after Wayne had left for...

yes, we are talking but i just have to be realistic about things. he isn't and that is what gets us in trouble

I broke down and Fandangoed my ass into a midnight showing of Episode III tonight. I have successfully avoided all spoiler warnings for the last few weeks and averted my gaze from newspaper boxes this morning with their front page full color reviews. I may have seen words like force and vader bandied about in clever headlines, but I havent processed any actual information regarding...

How was it? People seem to be quite pleased with it so far (the movie).

My friend ordered a fiber boost in her Jamba. Apparently, it didn't "work."

This journal is about strung-out dirty fucks, bookstores, and comics.
.
I tend to be more of a people listener than a people watcher. I let others make up stories and histories for strangers they see across the street; the gentleman dressed in velour at the coffee shop or the woman pushing an empty stroller in a parking lot past midnight. Ill bet that persons...

I dont feel like writing about how pissed off I am about this whole Coldplay buzz show nonsense at the Fillmore and how despite timing my internet ticketmaster request with a fucking atomic clock so that I was logged in to buy tickets milliseconds after they went on sale but still came up empty because all the goddam tickets were earmarked for industry insiders and...

i missed the bus today by 1 minute, saw it driving off. the next pacifica bus is not for a 1/2 hr later. so i decide to go across the street and sit in the bakery instead of inhaling fumes for breakfast. against my better judgement, i pick up the newspaper. right there staring me in the face, "Coldplays Intimate Fillmore Show - Worth Whatever Price You Whored Yourself Out For." my morning just worsened after reading that review. i cursed then felt yay big when i felt the rath of scowling mothers with children picking up birthday cake. i shoulda answered one of those craiglist ads, "have an extra coldplay tix, i need a date." I coulda just dissed the creep as soon as i got in, right? next. next time, i will pimp myself out. mad

I like that a lot. Taking pictures of everything you remember as a child... that's lovely!
