There's a labyrinth on the floor. In the busiest crossing in the busiest airport in the busiest country in the world. There's a labyrinth in mosaic stone on the floor, where thousands of people cross each hour, not looking down, not breaking stride.
In old Catholic Europe they laid labyrinths into the floors of cathedrals. It symbolized the pilgrimage, and all the twists and backtracking...

Have you ever been to Cornwall? The stone object in my profile pic is Men-an-Tol.

Bonsoir Monsieur Baudot. Well I can happily say that I got two intriguing little books in the post. You're so thoughtful, that was perfect! The birds and flowers one really is delightful, so sweet and funny. Thank you for thinking of me. Hopefully I'll be able to swear at you in Russian next time I see you. So you will be at that address for a while so I can post a letter there? Nice about the labyrinth! I always try to look up and down and round when I'm walking the streets, it often leads to me walking into things or nearly being run over quite often but I think it's worth it for the things I see. Happy new year to you, I hope you're well!
If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself, tell yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches.

By that measure I am blameworthy today, for I am BORED out of my skull. It's been a productive deskbound day, breaking through coding problems that had been blocking me for weeks, and with that no longer on my...

Yeeaaa... milk is great and all but if I drink that much I'll be in the bathroom most of the day! lol. I've been putting more protein in my diet since starting the app and so far I think it is working. lol We'll see in the next couple weeks or so if it is really helping

So, you're saying I should mail you my copy? It would be my pleasure.
Love your crush. My first movie crush is Conrad Veidt as Cesare in Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. He was either sleeping, dead, or mad throughout, and he is most definitely dead now. I say it adds to his mystique.

The chainmail cleavage irritated me, since I'm a big fan of Women Fighters in Reasonable Armor. Also, why the balls is she holding the blade like that? One of the things I don't like about a lot of gaming images is that women are almost always sexualized. I think it would be cool if you could break that pattern. No reason a woman can't be sexy BECAUSE of her badassery, rather than her skimpy clothes.
When we die, our bodies return to the earth and the stuff that makes us up may in time be part of countless other creatures. While we live, thoughts pass through us. We might get to add a new twist on a thought before we pass it back out into discourse. You don't get to smell the flowers that grow from your grave, but while...

Very decent, actually. I'm averaging just what I wanted to average as my minimum acceptable amount, so it's worth the drive so far. I'm only working there during the week though. I'm still doing Fargo on weekends. I'm going to try a new club in December to see if that's more my style in terms of money, but the drive is super long compared to this place.

Thanks for the feedback on my pictures. Every little bit helps to improve next time!
Next song that's stuck in my head.
Yes, it's Enya.
