i was just going to let you know about that gig in St. Louis. we're playing on jan. 30th at Lemmon's Basement Bar, which i've heard is quite well known. the cover is a whopping $10.00, but that gets you an all day pass and there are numerous bands from all different genres playing. we go on around 7:00-8:00pm. any support you could bring would be appreciated. i don't know how many of our fans are willing to make the trek up to the show me state to cheer us on. hell, i'll buy you a beer just for showing up!

However, humans need alone time as well and social activities can actually drain points when one participates instead of just chilling out alone and playing a DVD or computer game off-line (or knitting, reading, painting, drawing, writing, etc.). We must remember balance in all things.

Freeware; I know somebody who made a boot CD of the DOS version, but that version doesn't like my sound.
The Ur-Quan Masters v0.3 is beatable, but not entirely stable. On linux, it can usually go 30-90 minutes without locking up, as long as you aren't doing to many transitions. Mostly, I have to save early and often. This suits me fine in the early game, because I use save & restore to go very "aggressive" on my resource gathering anyway. I rush this so I can get the probe quest done ASAP because I suck at fighting them.
The worst thing about the console version is the speech. I've heard it all twice now, and I think it will be back to silence next time. Now that the third batch from the Precursors is out, I'll probably try the remixed music, though.

We're not a society which, as a whole, changes cars a lot either...so if the old (polluting) glove still fits...
