Technology is so confusing. PHP, MySQL, other acronyms. Why can't designing a CMS (Content Management System... I think) be as easy as buying a diet coke? Because that's quite easy.

Thank god for my dad. He'll be designing me and alex_letango's site for us. How awesome is he? So awesome.

I'd love to be a part of that....however, I don't live in Australia (wish I did), let alone even visited. Good luck with all that. I hope you find all the right people to help you realize your dream. Rock on.

t's Obligatory: Australia Is Political For The Next Few Weeks.

Its on. Yes, from passionately ill-informed uni students to totally uninterested old bastards, Australia is now officially in the grip of election madness. Cafes and pubs are alive with the chatter of a nation trying to come to terms with where we are and where we want to go. Beers will be drunk, cigarettes will...

ESTABLISHMENT BAR
252 GEORGE ST., SYDNEY

Last week I wanted to fund some schemes. I desperately needed to
invest some capital so as to establish infrastructure and score
dividends from my venture capitalist nest egg. In the months previous,
I spent most of my time fully paying off indebtedness by instalments
of principal and earned interest over a definite time. I haven't had
so much...

I've been doing sweet fuck-all lately. I was going to go and see Wolfmother ('Sydney's Led Zeppelin' I'm told) and Cut Copy ('Electro-clash meets New Order' I'm told) on Saturday but sickness prevented that. I'm partially deaf and have a cough and am all ick. Good times.

Indeed. Regardless of my fairly minor sickness, I've got a shitload of articles to do; reviews of the...

Yes, Samuel L Jackson is the man. That's why in our stories, one of us adopted the name Jules. I want to see that Geoffrey Rush movie. I am a fan of both him and Peter Sellars, so it should be tight.

On Australian television, there's an advertisement for Kellogg's Sultana Bran that uses the tune to 'I Heard It On The Grapevine.' I love that fucking song, and goddamn I hate advertisers using it.

I very rarely write to companies. In fact, I never have. But goddamn Kellogg's forced my hand. I bet they'll be weeping for days after this. Alternatively, they'll read three words of...

lol! that ad is ridiculous!. I don't usually watch television, but the other day I flicked it on and happened to catch that gem -- it destroyed me mentally puke cringe is an understatement.

Yes I am going down to sydney and melb to approach boutiques and shops that will hopefully order my range.. xfingers crossedx.. getting a good response up here for the shirts, but I haven't finished the rest of the range yet, so hopefully I will get a good response for the skirts and dresses as well.

Dallas Crane, 67 Special and The Cops are all bands which people should check out. If you only check out song from all three, listen to No Through Road by Dallas Crane. It's all day with the rock and all night with the roll, I swear.

This Sunday I'm seeing the new Cirque De Soleil. I quite like their schtick - it'd be quite hard...

Albinoni / Giazotto - Adagio for strings and organ from the Baroque period, And can be heard in the following films
'The Doors' movie 1991, 'Gallipoli' (1981) and again in 'Welcome to Sarajevo' (1997)

Samuel Barber: Adagio For Strings op. 11
This music was played during the closing scene's of the 'Platoon' .

The music is played during this scene as Tom Beringer is shot in the back and dies as a helo is lifting off after trying to pick him up at the end of a stint in the jungle, it was the end of his tour of duty and he was due to return home.
I rate Platoon as one of the best war movies ever made along with Apocalypse Now and Patton. Stone has done an excellent job. Look for him in a cameo role as an officer in a bunker that gets blown up by the enemy.

Both peices of music are very melencholic and great when you are feeling sad or down.

This may not be quite what you had in mind bro but there you go, hope you enjoy anyway.

Saw the Libertines last night. Jesus fucking holy christ, they rocked the fuck out. I wouldn't have gone to the gig if I wasn't reviewing it (and hence it was free) because I'm not that in to the 'Tine's recorded ouevre. But bloody hell I'm glad I did go. Four spunky English fellas with cool hair and nice shoes rocking out and drinking scotch. The...

Friday night, and I went to a Hungarian restaurant with my parents. Saw two of the best pianists in Australia perform a bunch of classical and jazz pieces. Pretty good way to spend an evening.

On Monday there's an Elliott Smith Tribute Night at the Basement. I can't wait, should be really, really good (assuming the artists do his work justice). So all you Sydney...
