One final down, three to go. The one I had today was one of my most difficult. It was simply two essays, worth fifty points each. Yowza. On the bright side, we were awarded twenty-five points per essay if she could tell we'd at least READ the novels, so I know I got at least a 50/100.
(I think I'll probably get an 85-90).
I'm meeting with my groupmates for our take-home Linguistics final. I've hated this class so very much, but the teacher rocks. That's the only thing that keeps me going. We're supposed to make notes and then write our final in class, but screw that. I have a feeling everyone's going to show up with the final completely written out and just copy it into a blue book. I mean really...
My Shakespeare final will be pretty difficult, but the teacher adores me (see my last entry). I'm not too scared.
The last final is Brit Lit. The teacher is extremely hard to write for. She's the first English teacher EVER to give me a C on a paper. EVER. She agrees with me during class participation, but she marks me at a C for almost every paper and in-class writing. Grrr... I'm NOT looking forward to the final. I got an 82 on the midterm, even though I knew the material inside and out and wrote longer than most of the class. Ugh.
All told, I should end up with a 3.3 for the semester. It would have been a 3.5 or so if my Brit Lit teacher wasn't so damn stubborn.
