I just got in touch with a guy I haven't talked to in over a year. We'd always been good friends, and I was after him BIG TIME. We got into a stupid fight in late 2000, and then he moved away in 2001, and that was that.
Well, I've been thinking about him a lot, so I located his screen name. He was online, so I sent a tentative message. Apologies on both our ends led to trips down memory lane, and then he said that he never realized what he had in me back then and has been trying to find me since he moved. He thought of me, but he figured I was still mad and, therefore, stayed away.
We finally want each other at the same time. The timing is a bit...well...bleh, because he lives in Nevada now. He can't move because he owns a restaurant, and I can't move because I only have one year left in school.
We're going to discuss it more when we've both had sleep, but I see a lot of plane tickets in my future.
I'm so scared. Happy scared (and pissed about the distance), but my god... I finally have him.

Yay! for being scared. I guess it means it could be something big? If you werent scared then it probably woudl be - "eh.. he's okay. " If he is smart he will rush on over to where your at. Now I got the Dave mathews band song stuck in my head "Where are you going? ooooh thats where I want to be ...."
