I get my car back within the week!!! Yay!!! I've been GOING INSANE without it. (I took it in for repairs in late January).
I'm going to drive everywhere once I get it back. And before anyone yells about natural resources and gas guzzling, it's a compact gas-efficient car. I get 27 mpg in-town and close to 40 mpg on the highway. So there.

I can go to Ann Arbor and City Club and Chicago and up north to visit my parents and the grocery store, the laundromat, the video store, restaurants... running errands will no longer take six hours by bus, and I'm no longer a slave to the bus schedules (which suck).
CAR!!!!!!!! All I've wanted to do is drive around in this nice, spring weather, and now I can! No more freezing, whipping wind in my face. Yay!!!
I felt like my wings had been clipped. I'm one of those people who lives in my car. It's a large part of my happy self. To feel imprisoned and dependent on people giving me rides has been a HUGE chunk of my depression. God, I can't wait to be free again.
