Today was the first day back at class after break. I had to miss yesterday's classes for a funeral, so I'm already playing catch-up. Anyway, it went well, despite my, "Why in god's name is the damn alarm going off?!?" this morning.
We discussed an excellent book in my Women in Lit class. We were supposed to start Toni Morrison's "The Bluest Eye" for today, but I enjoyed it so much that I finished it an hour and a half after I started it. The book is pure brilliance, pure poetry, and just bittersweet and lovely. I had no idea I'd enjoy her writing so much, and I was pleasantly surprised.
I had my Shakespeare midterm immediately afterward. It was so hard coming off a week's vacation to a MIDTERM. Ack. Luckily, I was able to kickstart my brain and write some decent essays.
It was sunny and a bit warm (about 35 degrees), so I walked home. My new place is just far enough that it's a good walk, but not so far that I get tired and chilled to the bone.

I never really had just one class I enjoyed most, it was the learning I liked unless of course they 'told' me I had to take the class to make me a more rounded student. I never did well in those ones, I have always been a rebel against authority, even when it was pointless authority. Oh well it's the journey not the path.

I went there to dance with a company in gdansk, it is gorgeous and captivating; hence part of me still being there.
