Thanks for taking time to write some advice on my situation. It is really complicated and I was comiserating with sabine that it is never as easy as you think ending a serious relationship. In my case I did tell her how I felt , and after freaking out she seems to have come to terms with itsomewhat and we both decided to see if we can work it out. realist in me lost out to the romatic I guess.

Nothing wrong with realism.

I wish the best for both of you. Healing is a long, tiring process, but believe me when I say it will get a little easier each day. I know it feels like that'll never happen (and I sure as hell didn't believe it after my last relationship), but it's true.
