I don't believe this.
I just got into my second car accident in six months.
The first one was my fault (sun glare got in my eyes, and I rear-ended a person at a red light). That one ended up with $2400 in damage and some pretty sore muscles.
This one was NOT my fault, and the damage is cheaper (should be around $500). Unfortunately, the other person drove off (!!!), so I have to pay for it instead of petitioning their insurance company. *growl*
I am fine, and the car can still be driven. I'm just shaky and tense and all the usual things that go with those "I Didn't Need This Today" items. *sigh*
It wasn't even my car. It was a friend's. He's loaning it to me since I just sold my car to salvage (the engine is toast). I felt HORRIBLE, but he assured me that he isn't mad at me since it wasn't my fault.

What is it with me and cars the past six months? Ugh.
I'm staying home from now on.
