Oh my lord. I'm talking to a guy I haven't seen since my senior year of high school. He was my Homecoming date, and we dated for a couple of months. He turned me into a little beret-wearing, poetry-writing, Kafka-reading coffee shop girl and is responsible for getting me away from my horrid musical tastes and into some of the great bands I still love (New Model Army, Kraftwerk, Ministry, and so on).
Anyway, he just sent me this picture. I didn't have any pictures from Homecoming, so he said, "Wait one second."
It's a bad scan of an old picture, so I did what I could. I can't stop laughing. I look so YOUNG!!! What's even more amusing is that he was 24.
