Crying sucks, so I distracted myself (my foolproof trick for stopping the waterworks).
I took a shower, got dressed, and drove waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay across town to the FedEx office. They had a package for me (meds - yay!) I hit every red light on the way there. The odds of that happening were pretty slim, as there are about thirty on the way there, so I was amused once I stopped yelling at them.
I stopped at the photo lab on the way home and got my Christmas and SGKazoo/SGDetroit Up North Trip pictures. Once I got home, I made some cocoa and started photoshopping them. (I love how Photoshop is now as common a verb as Xerox).
Seeing everyone in the pics made me much happier. It was a Very Cool trip, and I met some awesome people.
I didn't say why I was crying because it would just take too long, and I was feeling silly about it, and so on. I HATE crying. It makes me feel stupid and weak, even if it's "necessary" or what-have-you. I knew that if I couldn't get back to sleep, I may as well get some stuff done, and being productive is always the kickstart to a better mood.
I really want to work out today, but I'm so bloody tired.
Polly left a comment in my last journal that said she thinks I'm gorgeous. I was so shocked I had to read it a few times and then try to figure out if she really meant me. I mean, yeah... I'm kind of cute... but not *gorgeous*. (And I'm SO not fishing for compliments here, so no coddling). It was a nice surprise, anyway, even if I think she's slightly deranged.
