I get to pick up my new (used) car tomorrow! 
It's a silver 1999 Dodge Stratus with 76K miles (all highway), and I got it for $3552 in a silent auction. It was sold by State Farm, which means it received regular maintenance and repairs and was only driven to claim sites and conferences.
On top of that, my dad is coming down tomorrow so we can take care of all the Stuff associated with getting a new car. I can handle it on my own, but it'll be nice to have him here since he likes to do this sort of thing. We're going to have dinner once it's finished, and then my boy will be here shortly after Dad leaves.
I kind of want Dad to stick around so he can meet Ken, but it's a three hour drive back to Gaylord. We'll see, I guess.

Things really do follow the Law of Three sometimes. I finally have the perfect boyfriend, my dream apartment, and a new car after eight months without one.
