(Edited and rewritten because I was bombed off my ass when I wrote the original)
I was bored bored bored all weekend and had nothing to do.
So, at midnight tonight (Sunday/Monday), one of my housemates came into my room and said, "I don't have to work tomorrow! I want to get drunk and stay up late! Let's go to The Zoo!" I looked at her, confused, and she said, "Well, not until "Space Ghost" is over," and then bounded out of my room.
Okaaaaaaay...
I put on some clothes and waited for my housemates to get ready (and finish watching "Space Ghost"). It seemed odd to leave for a club around 1:00 AM, but hey... anything to get out of the house. I just found it amusing that they waited until the very end of the weekend.
We got to The Zoo around 1:15 AM. The Zoo is a gay bar that is popular with straight people who have open minds and want to escape the frat scene, so it's always busy. The dance floor was PACKED -- we couldn't even get near it -- so we went out to the patio.
In the next forty-five minutes, the following happened:
An extremely drunk, flaming boy pat me on the head and called me cute.
A girl hit on me. She was my type, but her girlfriend dragged her away.
An old co-worker (straight and cute) danced up to me, threw his arms around me, and talked to me long enough to exchange phone numbers so we could make this an every-Sunday thing.
Another flaming guy (though sober this time) pat my head and called me cute. I also got a kiss on the cheek after I complimented his Cheer Bear shirt. (Cheer Bear has a rainbow on her stomach).
I really REALLY missed this lifestyle.
P.S. Eek!!! My roommate just dumped a handful of TOFFEE ALMOND Hershey Kisses in my lap. When did they start making these, and how did I not know about it? TOFFEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
