I was sitting on our front porch talking to Ken, and I stopped talking when the train hit Oliver because I knew it would get loud. Ken said, "Train," and I said, "Yeah... wait a bit... it'll get loud. You'll love it."
I heard one huge blast and then BANG! I assumed some jerkoff kids were lighting illegal fireworks, so I dismissed it. Then I said, "I didn't hear those last two blasts before it gets to the station... that's weird. It was supposed to get LOUD. I wonder why the engineer didn't sound the horn again."
Then I shrugged, went inside, and went to the video store. The rest of the story is up top.
