I'm going soft. I think it might just be because I'm ovulating, but I had to fish the uneaten baby mice out of the vipers tank. Made them a little nest of TP and put them in front of a heater.
What is wrong with me? I used to strangle bunnies for my boa and now I'm going all soft on 2 mice the size of...well, something really small.

The first night out we staged at a huge ammo dump site. Itrained so I strung up my poncho between the chest-high stacks of crates around and slept peaceful and dry underneath. the crates were stacked in rows and were full of 155mm artillery shells. We weren't afraid.

don't get used to it, it keeps each mission fresh and exciting...remember, you can never "been there, done that" enough
time can drag over there, but on the other end, you will look back and think "where did the time go?"

Well back on base finally. been out and back a few times. I'm actually about midway between ramadi and fallujah.

getting shot at sucks.
getting mortared sucks even worse.
everyone's holding up pretty well. lots of things going on.
