Well it's been a while since I've updated so I'll try here real quick in the time that I have.
Things have been really up and down the last couple of weeks. It was pretty quiet over the holidays. The insurgents were still reeling from Fallujah and the locals had largely pushed them out of the town of Ramadi (good for them!) but now with the new year things are heating up again. with the elections coming and all it was kinda expected, but it's been bad this last week with roadside bombs and mortar attacks and some supporters of the elections in the city were murdered. so we're stepping up things and pushing a gear higher. hopefully it works out well. when it comes right down to it, as long as I keep safe...I'm leaving on a preordained time frame no matter how things go here for the most part. i just hope these people get a chance to do it right...for themselves.

ps. y'all may not know it, but if you are on my firends list I am reading your journals via the bookmark thingy whenever I can. I just don't always have the time to respond with the 30 min limit here in the comp lab. it makes me feel badly. as soon as I get back to stateside and have my own apartment with high speed access to the information super treadmill...y'all are gonna get sick of me in no time.

I'm going soft. I think it might just be because I'm ovulating, but I had to fish the uneaten baby mice out of the vipers tank. Made them a little nest of TP and put them in front of a heater.
What is wrong with me? I used to strangle bunnies for my boa and now I'm going all soft on 2 mice the size of...well, something really small.
Sigh.
