Yeah, I don't blame you. I tried to shove that thing on several of my friends, and they reacted pretty badly to it. I was all up on my antisocial ways when I read It. I thought it was good fun. Ya know poking at all the socialites and cheering at their misery/false happiness. I'm such a nice guy.
The same thing happened to me with Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Everyone was telling me how good it was and I wanted to strangle them. I don't know what the F'n was so good, cause I couldn't finish the thing. I think it was the worst.

Oh, I'm glad to hear I'm not alone with my Zen failure. You seem to be having enough enjoyment without it! I haven't read the Faustus thing, but My neighbor has it on his license plate. I've always wondered.

Thank you for all the good advice....that's actually a problem that really hurt my last really long relationship....we were around each other so much that we ran out of things to say because we pretty much expereience everything together.

for some reason i found myself watching alvin and the chipmunks a few nights ago. they were singing some song about being scared, while loads of monsters attacked them. personally, i'd have forgotten the words under that kind of stress.

if you're a fan of japanese punky rock, you should grab some silversun. lava is my favourite, and the only one i really know, but it rocks hardly. you and i must be sure to contribute to the next cd swap, and request each other's compilations....

sounds good. brussels is very art deco in some places. we are supposed to have invented the genre. but it's been taken away from us. just like french fries ))))

you speak a lot about dancing. you know, some say "motorcycling is the meditation of the modern man". at some point, you reach a plateforme where things seem to focus for you, there's a threshold there which can bring a pleasant feel of being totally involved. Okay, for some reason the comment I originally made to this post got lost ( ). I'm not going to try to recreate it, I'll just say that it was complementary to you.

I loved that she licks her finger after touching herself (you know, down there). I love that I've never heard of Jacques Brel and I can still picture the scene. And I love the phrase "coffee-coloured ass".

Oh, I may have said I wanted the black Elvis impersonator to have a more significant role...and I think I made a lame joke about wishing there were more explosions. What a dork I am.
