So....I definitely pushed the issue too much with the girl I was interested in. She's called things off which has me down a bit but it's not a surprise. I'm not sure when I'll feel like dating again but it'll probably be at least a week or two. Live and learn I guess.

Round (date?) #3 today. So we hung out at a farmer's market and then took a bit of a walk through the city. It didn't feel like 5 hours but it also didn't feel nearly long enough. She bought some fruit and veggies then we decided to get some nice wine, cheese and bread at the ferry building and it was all quite good. We're...

Ah dating. Such a bizarre, fun and fucked up endeavor we put ourselves through. I went out for the second time with an amazing woman today. I think it's pretty obvious that we get along quite well, I'm just not sure if she's feeling the physical attraction that I am. When we first started talking (online) she made it clear that she wasn't interested in...

Vegans. A classic subject for me. I'm not going to talk about the validity or lack thereof of veganism. I was driving home tonight when I noticed that the BMW SUV in front of me that had a license plate that said "Go Vegan" on it. You'll never see a license plate that says "Go Omnivore" (okay smarty pants I know it has too many...

i'm going to go with the animal right thought... and really the way to get people to stop torturing animals is to stop buying their product, and making your disagreement known.

So being single has been.....well, boring. I've never been the most social person on Earth especially with people I don't already know. We'd all love to be with someone that makes us feels good about ourselves, that stimulate our senses and excite us but I'm just lacking the energy to look. I'm hoping serendipity will help out but good things seldom fall into my lap....

ouch, i believe in this relativity you speak of. supposedly by the summer the prices are going to be astronomical at most $5.00 a gallon is the price they are saying will be the national average. luckily where i live its so small and tiny here everything is nearby i only fill up once a week. 15 gallon tank i get about 26 mpg highway (not that we use the highway here) so in retrospect i should not be complaining but when i get to drinking like i was i get a wee bit ranty biggrin

I wasn't trying to fix any wrongs. I really was just saying hi because it seemed like the right thing to do even though it's a year too late. I don't have a map, an answer sheet or a plan and whatever insights I had on my own life were lost on an October evening over a year ago. I don't have anything eloquent or...

It's been quite a long time since I've posted anything here and I don't really have any purpose in doing so now. Nothing brilliant to say. No astouding news or riveting stories. It feels very weird being back here. I never lost my membership and I went months without even checking it. The new format is still very foreign to me. The people I used...

So 2 days after my summer vacation began, my car exploded. Last summer I had to have neck surgery right at the very beginning of summer and now this. I was actually doing half-way decent financially going into this but I don't have "car" money by any stretch of the imagination. This is not going to make looking for a new job easy. One of...
