Played a game of soccer with my brother and his mates on Sunday afternoon. A hot Sydney day that reached about 30 degrees (Celsius, somewhere in the 80s F), we played from about 5.30 to 7pm. Busy week in prospect. Packing up completely and moving north, by the end of this week.

Yay. (For the moving, that is, the move itself is exciting.)

Nothing much more profound to say really. Sorry.

It's the new year, and a new beginning. I'm in Sydney, and, with the exception of a brief trip back to Melbourne next week to pack up home and office, I'm here in Sydney for good. New home, new job, new living-with-long-time-long-distance girlfriend. It's all going to be so different this year.
