Energy for SGing kinda low lately.
It's not the influx of way too many idiotic n00bs, even though that's been hard to miss. I'm not quite sure what it is. I've been working hard trying to get some interesting stuff into the politics blog, and I wonder if it's worth the effort, or if it's pearls before swine. I mean, this was, I thought, a cracker of a thread, but it went basically nowhere. And a well-constructed post on the appalling US budget deficits just brought out the whine-whine-whine of how-dare-an-Aussie-talk-about-Bush-like-that. Oi.
I'm getting "gatekeepered" everywhere I turn. I'll explain gatekeepering next time I guess, but it's exhausting when you're making an effort to get a dialogue going. Hm.
Anyway ... as usual, there are nice friendly people who've left me comments I have not replied to. As with the SGs remarking about comments on their sets, I appreciate all comments left for me here. However much I grumble, I have great friends here, and I value that.
OK. That touchy-feely moment out of the way: I'm not online next week much, if at all. Play safe, but be a little naughty too. I'll miss the nice folks who leave me nice messages, and hope to arrive back to a few in a week and a bit's time. Take care kiddies!!
