So I haven't written any girlfriend-related posts in a while -- certainly not since I changed nicks.. Regular readers will be familiar with why I love my girlfriend, although apparently the first two in this series have dropped off the radar. A pity, really, the double-letter conversation was a marvel and goes a long way to explain why she is so special.
Some of you might also recalled the health scares (parts 1 and 2 -- for moral support during which time, I am still grateful to all those who offered it. So in this update, there'll be both health and love, combined.
Health update: since the crisis there have been two hospitalisations. The second, not so long ago, was an operation to remove the growth that turned out to be on her adrenal gland, not her kidney. This was suspected as the culprit in the severe blood pressure situation which appeared to be from hyper-high adrenalin production. The latest news is that with the adrenal gland and its tumour removed, the adrenalin is still far too high and may call for another operation. If they can find the cause, that is. Scans & tests being done next week.
The big relationship news, health aside, is that at Christmas time, I move from Melbourne to Sydney, and we Move In Together. We've been so long a long distance couple that we're both kind of apprehensive about being together full time. We've almost decided that we'd have to take breaks from one another during each week, just so it would be such fun to see each other again, the way it is now.
Most of our phone conversations are surreal, pointless, incomprehensible to outsiders, and gut-bustingly funny. She's the one who sent me the Lime Helmet Kitty picture, by the way.
That's the kind of gal she is.
Bathory posed the question of what 3 words someone you loved would use to describe you. For my girlfriend I chose intense/hilarious/seductive.
In her case, for me, I remain her "chirpy little fucker".
