I have a birthday coming up in two days as well. I was a little scared when I turned thirty. But trust me, there's nothing to be afraid of. Things do brighten up once you turn thirty. Not the least of which is that people really will see you as an adult. It's one of the benefits of "growing up." Though truth be told, "growing up" is always a work in progress.

I've got less than 9 days left in my 20's. I don't really know how I feel about it. On one hand, everyone around me makes me feel so old because they're younger than me. On the other, I don't look like I'm about to be 30.
