So, my friend & I didn't get to ride w/you & all hell broke loose! well.....not really. I still didn't make it to the party though. Er told me about a philly party & think I could make it there & crash at my parents house! I have a friend who's living there that I haven't seen in over 2 yrs as well & HAVE to visit. I hear the Philly crew is real chill. Are you driving there.....are you going? I want to bring Jaqui, but she seems to be a sickly chicken these days! I still love her

i've always liked the idea of remaining friends with former romantic partners. i've tried really hard to make it work, but sometimes this person that you thought you knew really well and you were really close with turned out to make no sense at all. with my last partner, we would break up and get back together on almost a monthly basis, but we "were never really dating" the entire time. he couldn't commit, not that i was making him or pressuring him. it just got old after a while, with me going, "this isn't working. i want something normal." and then having him go "what's not normal about it?". so, finally, after a wonderful summer together (it really was) we split up for college. and i began seeing someone else. when i told him, he suddenly became incredibly possessive and jealous, and i found myself feeling like i was a bitch...and of course we hooked up again...and two months later, when i'm finally feeling it's safe to be completely ga-ga over this guy, he tells me he can't do it. he has feelings for someone else. it really broke my heart. it did, and it's really hard to feel like i should have to pursue any sort of connection with him in the future, but i want to, because, you know, you work so hard to get so close to someone. it's hard to just toss it all out the window. to forget about it all. i just don't want this to happen again between us. i want this to be the last time, and until he knows what he wants, i'm a little scared to be his friend.

Well you missed a great show tho I hope you had a good night! SoEffinHappy totally came thru and he was cool and everyone had fun-YAY! I'm assuming you will be at the holiday bash on the 20th??? i think i should be because i have to be in NY next week anyway but i cannot be positive. Anyway i think sometime soon we should have movie night at my apt. AND we must start the SG Philly bowling league.
