So last night was pretty warm for an October evening, so we decided to have a wee fire...
and actual fire as we have had burn bans all summer till now.

Hurricane Ophelia, it wasn't too bad in the end, I've not heard of any major damage or deaths happened so we were lucky. We had a red sun on Monday apparently from the hurricane blowing sand from the Sahara, quite a sight.

So I spent my morning working on the show I am building and part of my afternoon getting the deck furniture tucked away for the winter.
I am now enjoying a Berlinweisse brew and watching England try Iraq U-17 World Cup. This beer is from Two Brothers brewery in Guelph and I will also be trying some beers from The Brook Street Brewery in Whitby....

Yeah, I went for a walk today to get the car and the frost was still on the roof tops... it might be a cool trick or treat night for sure.
I do like the cold first fall of snow and look forward to it, but it just seems to come so fast... like a buck's frost doe

We had frost here one day earlier this month...then it warmed up for a bit, and then it shot right back down, haha. I think we're done with warm weather here, though.

well @camy I hope you can come up here soon and experience all that we do here with snow, but after a while it is like the heat... and you get bored of it... that is why we love the change of seasons. It is fall here now and the trees are almost all the colours of the rainbow. @wizard0 we are waiting till the last moment to turn on the heat.
It was a long 16 hour drive to see my mom in Guelph but it was so worth it. I also picked up 2 growlers of different brews of fine ale and several cans of new Ontario beers.
We taught her how to play Ticket to Ride... where she kept calling the Black Cars in the game "Black Guys" she had lines like..." I'll take...
