Ever tried a private journal or a letter to no one in particular? sometimes by listing out and writing about every thing bothering you in great detail it can help let it out and at the least it helps you get your thoughts in order for therapy. My parents had me in therapy a lot when i was younger, I found the best results were when I shared my mental state with myself. Am I angry? why? am i lashing out? why? do i feel tense? why? am I happy? why?

Yes, Sort of, to be without any of that i think would make us more likely to take offense at the smallest slight, but without a doubt, the ones usually getting crazy over the 'small' issues are the ones with to much time on their hands and without the bigger problems.
