You say you're down on your luck
Hey baby it's a long long way up
Hold back now, hold back your fears
You say you're really down & out
And you feel like there's no way out now
Let go now, let go of your tears... some more
How many times have you asked yourself
Is this the hand of fate now that I've been...

The storms never stop for long.
The weeks been pretty ok so far. I guess that all the sun I bathed in is the main reason why. Im always amazed how much of a different person I become when Ive got light & warmth around me... which makes it all the more unbelievable that Ive stayed so long in Britain. I wish it wasnt that complicated to go where I wanna...

Quick update before I go cook myself the world famous (in my kitchen) Kinto's omelette:
- eggs
- potatoes
- onions
- bacon
- herbes de provence
- basil
- white wine
- black pepper
- olive oil
yes, it's that good.
Proper update tomorrow at some point.
...and also, don't worry too much about my last entry, it's just that emo part of me...

Tsk. I spent all day watching my inbox *snif* YOU BASTARD!
No worries mate.
Man I'm desperate to see that film - it looks like a typical peice of Jarmusch brilliance. I think Steve Coogan has the potential to become the next Peter Sellars if he starts choosing the right films. 80 Days Around The World was not a good start. Hopefully he'll get noticed by the good directors soon though. If that fails, he can always continue being Alan Partridge. Legend!

Message received cap'n
I could spend time trying to write something clever. Or I could go to bed early once again and tell myself its just another day that wasnt really worth it.
How many days have gone wasted? Patience is supposed to be a virtue and how much I know that, thanks a million. Just how many days do I have left before starting to seriously think...

yo kinto, biggup dude! Nope, don't think I'm a hot shot property lawyer just yet! I find out at the end of the week whether I got the contract or not but i'm not bothered. Either way, everyone's a winner: if I get it, great, if I don;t get it, then that;s not where I'm meant to be so it's all good.
Well, am back in londres now chilling at home. I'm reading a spiffing book atm called "The Ascent of Everest" by John Hunt. His british team was the first to reach the summit of everest in 1953 and it's a remarkable account of their travels. Damn, I want to do stuff like that! Are you into this adventure malarky or are you more of a pipe and slippers kinda guy?
Don't think of wasted days!! They're gone- poof! You'll waste more time in the present regretting the time you've wasted and then all your hope is pinned on the future. No. stoppit. now. :p Anyhoo, I'll be frolicking in central londres proper next week once I've taken it easy for a bit here at home so we can waste some time over coffee together if ya like. might even be able to rope in that elusive elf if she's around..
whattaya say?

Hi there,
don't get me wrong New York is fun, but the last two times I have been I have ended up looking after sick people and this time I ended up holding a two day vigil at the side of my cousins sick bed in NYU's Downtown Hospital. It alll got way too much for me, I didn't know how I was going to get him out of the US and to a hospital in Ireland!
Oh well I am home now and I am a little sad I have left the US.
Hope you are well and that I see you soon

Kinto might not always be available in the near future but rest assured that he is sending love your way and thinking about you all.
Please leave a message & raise a smile, for him, for you.
May you all find happiness & love.

That's what I was thinking, only I wonder just how many of my classmates will be thinking the same thing.
Yes, I'm here for a few moments here and there.
And now I'm off to study some warehouse windows.

Words? What are these "words" you speak of? I'm an ARTEEST. I speak in EEMAGES, not "words"!!!
... That said, Sketch an idea of what you mean, scan it and send it on over!
Schedule has changed. Calling tonight is fine. I will be tired though, so please forgive mumbling.

thank you for your kind words kinto, and i'm really touched that you wanted to share your song with me, and also for doing that stuff to the photo- it's amazing what digital technology can do these days!!
thank you for getting rid of all those awful warts- hee hee!
I like the coloured one best- looks like i've been out for a brisk walk in the crisp autumn countryside...mmm....
have you put a tune to that song? I'm trying to save for a guitar atm [which isnt really working cos im not able to work at the mo- d'oh!] so I can try to weave music around my lyrics [is that the way it works or is it the other way around, i cannae tell]
That song in my journal is called "language" by suzanne vega. all of her lyrics are like that and if you like folk type music then you'll just fall in love with her. I saw her at glastonbury and it was so good i couldn't help but shed a tear *ah yer big girl-o*
. what's "zoviet" like?

you're right as usual kinto
When I think about how lost I've been all these years...
...how all this inner sadness and my relentless pushing away of any reachable happiness have eaten me alive
...how fear and apathy did turn me into one cold living emptiness descending into unforgiving and constant self-destruction
...how hunger and craving killed any possibility of a stable and satisfying relationship in the womb and made...

Totally serious.
But just right.
It'll be nice to read about Kinto's New Adventures though, when the time comes.

To be honest I am not entirely sure it is worth it. Living in a small town really does not help in the slightest, sharing friends with one ex and working opposite the other makes it even worse
but I shall get over it, I think I maybe dont have enough other stuff going on to distract me! Thank you for the love though it means a lot
As for that queue, yeah it is a frustrating one but you will get there in the end, I find you have to remember to keep an eye open for the little bursts a long the way too!!

I've heard that sometimes waiting in the queue can be a fun thing.
