I could spend time trying to write something clever. Or I could go to bed early once again and tell myself its just another day that wasnt really worth it.
How many days have gone wasted? Patience is supposed to be a virtue and how much I know that, thanks a million. Just how many days do I have left before starting to seriously think about all those days that Ive lost and will never get back, being obliged to wait for something that might never happen?
Ive come to a point in my life where I feel more & more isolated every minute as days go by. I miss having friends. The kind you can call in the middle of the night or just spend countless hours talking about everything and nothing at the same time. The kind that thinks about you and calls you for no particular reason. I used to have a few real friends but theyre all in various countries now & have gone on with their lives.
I made a choice, I dont regret it but Ill always be a foreigner and you start to realize how culture create worlds of difference. And everybody is so caught up in their own problems, they cant start to see that you might need to be listened to as well or maybe its just me who cant be bothered to make any efforts anymore, seeing how empty this whole life can be... and maybe someday Ill learn not to think and not to feel that I am always disturbing.
This is the time & age of virtual friends who will read what makes your heart break on their screen during their lunch time or during the TV commercial. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it real? Does it have a point? What difference does it make? Are we happy now?
How much Id give for a night spent on wandering the streets at night with you, the one I considered to be my brother, re-creating the world as we used to do when we were 16.
How much Id give for a night spent laying on a beach with you, the curly-haired girl for whom I wrote my most beautiful song ever, listening to the sound of the sea and watching the stars burn brighter in your eyes.
I want my innocence back.

Well, am back in londres now chilling at home. I'm reading a spiffing book atm called "The Ascent of Everest" by John Hunt. His british team was the first to reach the summit of everest in 1953 and it's a remarkable account of their travels. Damn, I want to do stuff like that! Are you into this adventure malarky or are you more of a pipe and slippers kinda guy?
Don't think of wasted days!! They're gone- poof! You'll waste more time in the present regretting the time you've wasted and then all your hope is pinned on the future. No. stoppit. now. :p Anyhoo, I'll be frolicking in central londres proper next week once I've taken it easy for a bit here at home so we can waste some time over coffee together if ya like. might even be able to rope in that elusive elf if she's around..
whattaya say?
