I've been in a funk all day. I'm sick, still, seven days later. It doesn't seem like it's bacterial, so I think I just have to deal with it until someone decides I've 'had enough.' I'm looking for jobs now. It's really hard to find a 'physics' job. That's the bottom line of what I'm realizing. I have no 'qualifications' or 'certifications' and some of them I don't even recognize. It's kind of unfortunate. I just don't understand where one is to get the experience necessary to obtain these certifications if all the jobs require some sort of qualificaiton....

I went to The Devil's Point tonight with all the SG PDXers. It was pretty fun, although being sick and designated driver doesn't make too great of a combination.

It was good seeing people and chatting, although I realize now how hard it is to talk to people when 1) loud music is blaring so you have to yell over it and 2) hot dancers...

So, my newest pair of jeans and my second newest pairs of shoes are now being desperately washed to save them from the clutches of EVIL TRANSMISSION FLUID STAINS. I was carrying a transmission while working on my car, I absent-mindedly rotated the transmission 90. This caused about a quart of thick, dark, gray fluid to pour down my jeans and onto my shoes. Argh....
