I am now poor. I spent all my money on booze and records. I did not waste a fucking penny.
London was fun. I think the interview went well, I talked a lot which is usually a good thing. At the very least I think I came across as me so if I don't get in there wasn't anything I could have done to change...

Alrighty then. Drinks are all arranged for tomorrow evening in London. I'll be about from 4 so let me know if you want to come along.
Sensible stuff.
Handed my essay in on Monday. Will get the mark this Monday. I have no idea if what I wrote made sense. I definitely didn't understand it. Anyway as lot of my class didn't even hand it...

Hope you had a good night last night.
The Kings College stuff looks lovely, I've been looking at one of their part-time masters as well, that you can do at a distance. Hope Friday went well.
I've had The Con for ages, LOVE IT, and just got Los Campesinos in the post today.

working hard is tough, but at least you get to go drinking in london
time flys, are you feeling productive though? is it satisfying getting stuff done.
that's true, emotion changes, got to just let it.

Much as I love those photos they have been up for too long. Time for a new post.
This week I have been mostly stressing over and essay. I have given myself a crash course in anthropology and sociology and their attitudes to culture and hopefully come up with an answer that fits the question.
Sorry I haven't been that communicative on here over the...

Not really related, but I did a Sociology GCSE when they first came out, yes I'm old and sad. Sickening thing was, I got a C and hubby got an A. I have never forgiven him for that.
I'm glad to read it's all going well with the studying though and of course you should aim high with uni, if you don't try, you won't get.
Take care hunny.

Today I will explain the Sunday morning footballers worst nightmare.
The Double Header
The double header occurs when a season is badly affected by poor weather such as this season was by the ridiculous amount of rain we had in January. Because most parks are shared by cricket and football all leagues have to set a finishing date for their season and inform the council...

Yah - you can come over this way, or vice versa. We'll work summat out.
And, oh Christ, dude. The double double header sounds like my worst nightmare. Hope you come through Sunday in one piece. Demand compensation from Mother Nature or something. I expect you'll be trying to avoid getting hammered on Saturday? Just remember, the harder you try to avoid something, the more likely it is to show up right in your face when you least expect it.

I have to be honest, i skipped the football bit! I'm sorry that you're hurt tho! poor Fry
sounds well painful! x
It's been a strangely good week. I don't know why but it just feels like it has been. Even though I had an exam on Tuesday.
Yes, a bloody exam. I wrote solidly for 2 hours. My hand ached. I haven't used my hand like that since ...you don't want to know
Anyway I think it went well. I certainly got loads down so as...

I can't even begin to imagine what it's like to sit an exam anymore. More power to you Mr. Fry. I hope the result comes in good for you.
And I'll definitely drop you a line before that time you're in Sheffield. Manchester is a short 40ish minutes across the Pennines (whichever way one goes). And drinking on a school night is one of my specialties.

The weekend turned into one continuos drinking session. I am not quite sure how that happened as I had nothing major planned. I am now feeling a bit spaced out at work. Sobriety is odd.
Made new friends, saw old ones and won a vital football game. Drink = fun. Sober = work.
Edit:full description as writing this is better then work.

Because nothing much has happened and because I have an exam tonight which I am trying not to think about here are some things that make me laugh.

I will be taking my time with grieving. I've told most friends that I might not be very active for awhile (though I'm not going to be a hermit either, that won't help) and at work they know that when I come back tomorrow, I will be taking advantage of both of my paid 15 minutes during the day to regroup and take care of myself in any way I can.
If anyone there at work expects me to just "get over it", they'll hear some choice words from me.

Have you seen Alien Loves Predator, I love it, but the guy is getting super damn slack about updating it
Yep, the buzz from the exercise is great, the risk of being hit really gets the adreneline going as well. I mean, it's not full on contact, we pull the punches, but it can still rattle you a little. Haven't been hit much in real life, so I'm not totally put off by the boxing. I'm hoping to continue to the trend of not being hit in real life as well, I imagine it would hurt a fair bit more.

True to form today is much quieter at work. I don't know how everyone knows when we're short staffed and when we're not. You can tell we're less busy becuase I'm hanging about on here
Anyway I am much more chilled today, that bottle of red last night obviously was the answer. That and getting in today to find out that I was right about...

Yeah amazing what actually talking to someone will do for ones opinion... another example I pulled my trade mark line on a stripper last night... she came up to the bar and asked for soemthing and then went on about pointless things... so I proceeded to put my hand over her mouth and said "Shhhh.... you are so much sexier when you dont speak" she started laughing... least she could take the joke...

Oh god you've reminded me of the horror of working in call centres, chained to a phone for 8 hours a day talking to people that the Muppets would reject as being "too stupid to be believable".
I used to storm off for a coffee, cursing and punching the doors open as I went, usually about once every couple of days or so. I think the management were outraged by my behaviour but were all too scared to say anything!

Proper blog just because I like being near the top of everyone's things to read list
I am sober. It's a bit odd.
I started drinking last Wednesday and it didn't really stop until today. It's been very varied drinking though - at home, in the local, in London, in Portsmouth - so I've avoided getting in a rut

What are you playing at? You can't just go around posting pics of the littlest hobo! God, the theme tune to that used to make me bawl as a kid and I know from talking to people I'm not the only one. Thank god you didn't put the music on Pinklet's blog as well otherwise I'd have been blubbing at work!

And yes, my room is huge! And I have a marbled shell shaped sink in there! It's so old school.
