because 1. it costs me $70-100 every time something like this happens with the car, and that's money i can't afford; 2. i'm petrified of being stranded somewhere w/ my daughter. i have have roadside assistance, but it's still scary; 3. a 3 year old car shouldn't have this many issues. my 15 year old car didn't have this many problems.
