I know from seeing other journals that people commonly only hear from their family over there every few weeks, and it's common to miss if there's a huge line when they have time to get to the terminals. No reason to worry.

I am military, navy submarines, and i am forward deployed to the west pacific. so i know how hard it can be trying to keep in touch. and believe me 3 days or even a week isn't much to worry about. generally there is only a few computers for all the hundreds of soldiers/sailors at a station. my ship has 2 computers and 1 phone for 140 bubbleheads. so getting in contact is hard it will be even harder over in iraq or other stations. it sucks having to wait, my best friend great girl had to wait 40 some days when i was doing submarine stuff once. remember that no news is good news. if anything bad did or does happen you will find out about it somehow. i hope all that helps some
