As for the first time in many months, I go on vacation. Just like Jack White, theyre sending me to Toledo.
WhiskeyFightPit has made me up a sensory-deprivation tank full of laudanum and Carnation Instant Breakfast (eggnog, I hope).
Soooo my SGing this week will be sporadic, not like jock-itch spores sporadic but "sporadic" meaning "occasional" or "once in a while".

Ummm yeah...I am probably going to need to split a room, if nobody'll house me for free. I offered my house to everyone and their brother, but nobody will give me a couch to flop on? Sheesh. Anyway, I don't wanna cause you to lose a free bed, but if nothing comes up then I suppose I'll have to take you up on your offer. I am most certainly going to be broke-ish.

"Ballerina girl....you are so loveleeeee". I always loved that one. "Hello" kind of scared me for some reason, too obsessive-sounding. "All Night Long" was the jam, though!
Hi Cheech man. I've been running around instead of safety having myself on SG all the time. The real world is overrated and too expensive, so I'm back. Back in my happy place where kitties help me type. Hope yer having a good weekend.

Happy Humpday!

Some of you (or none) might be wondering-- I've been on SG last night, and this afternoon, so why no mention of how awesome the Cashore Marionettes show was yesterday.
Well, I'll tell ya why.
It was cancelled. It was cancelled due to lack of interest. Guess how many people bought advanced tickets.... guess.
One.... that would be me. I was the only person...

how disappointing. I'm sorry.
I am tired-- don't have much time right now. I am off soon to see my intriguing marionette show... but I want to write to all my SG Friends. When will I be able to? Tonight? Tomorrow Night? The goddamn weekly laundry monster has me in chains again. Looking around my apt. right now, it's neither as messy as I feared, not as clean...

The state of your apt sounds like mine, but I think others would say it's messier than I fear, haha.
Re: walking around the office in just my socks. No, that wasn't what I meant, however now that I think about it I'm not too sure I'd get any complaints over it if tried.

I saw Spiro Agnew falling all over an opium den trying to make it with a couple of asian boys. They were just trying to make sure everyone had the right amount of opium and that no one O.D'd and this fucking criminal is trying to pick 'em up. Let the fuckers do their job, y'know!!!

re:SG site-addiction
youre not on the boards or into the photosets?
where do you go when you are here for uncounted hours?
where is your secret hiding place on this site?
(i honestly don't expect you to reveal your secrets to me just asking in a rhetorical/symbolic way)
i know there are some strange secret places here off the well-beaten path if one is sufficiently determined and has the time to uncover them buried beneath the enourmous mass of the common and predictable
i am lost to the universe of the internet with a voracious reality habit that i can barely break away from long enough to respond to the rare comment in my journal that periodically seems to coalesce in the rare ether like an odd spontaneous generation
do you like the cure?
im stuck in that 20th century culture of 1987 and kiss me kiss me kiss me
why does that era remain so significant?
it has something to do with george orwell's novel 1984 im certain of that
it's all about forbidden passions(thoughtcrime and sexcrime)
talking newspeak right now!

I saw Fire Walk With Me again last night, and I really like it. I suppose that's a boring opening sentence. As I told mtlqueen, my main memory of it from the first viewing was Lil... she's her mother's sister's daughter... yeah, I love that scene, but also so many more things I forgot. The friggin' GREAT music in the Bang Bang club. The...

Nice flick... not, like... amaaaazing, but a likable enough bunch of characters, except for... well, that'd be a spoiler, so I'll just say I was very satisfied with the ending.
The accents were so think, I tried to find hearing-impaired (English) subtitles; instead, I had to settle for Spanish ones, since I had a...

Dude, of course you can stay here. We've got 4 freakin' couches...at least one of them pulls out into a bed. As long as you don't mind my roommate's cats sniffing around you during the night, you're more than welcome to crash here.
While we're on the subject...wouldn't it be cool if that ever-so-hip Philly trio we know made it down for the festivities? I'm sure we could make room for the whole lot of 'em.
C'mon, work your magic s'more, Cheechman!

My worry, like my ejaculations, was premature-- the video store has just moved two blocks. Perhaps they had a sign out front saying so. I wouldn't know, as I always used the parking lot entrance. I found out by calling the phone number on my card on Sunday just to see if there was an answering-machine message; turned out they were...

1) Hmmm. I don't remember what I was into in 90 but it would have probably been baaaaddd. Like Mc Hammer or Vanilla Ice or something like that.
2) 1995, there is no doubt in my mind about this one. Pearl Jam which will work for 3 and 4 also. I am very nostalgic about Pearl Jam.
I can't wait for my cd's to arrive. Maybe the first batch already has, but I don't go into work until tomorrow, so who knows.

Dude, Netflix. I found this little gem with no hassle whatsoever. It rocks! Plus, considering I spend $4/movie at Bleccchbastard @ at least 5 movies per month not including late fees, $21.95/month for unlimited rentals delivered to your mailbox with 3 rented at any given time (and kept as long as your heart desires) is rock fucking solid.
wated:
When our local video store closed when I was in uni we could no longer find such classic gems as 'Willow' to rent. I feel your pain.
