Was just watching Once Upon a Time in the Midlands.
Nice flick... not, like... amaaaazing, but a likable enough bunch of characters, except for... well, that'd be a spoiler, so I'll just say I was very satisfied with the ending.
The accents were so think, I tried to find hearing-impaired (English) subtitles; instead, I had to settle for Spanish ones, since I had a few classes back in the day.
Apparently, "estupido gales" is Spanish for "Welsh wanker"
...also, I re-watched Henry Fool; like it's centerpiece poem, it's at once dark, obscene, twisted, and undeniably powerful. Cannot say enough about Thomas Ryan's performance...not to mention James Urbaniak, Parker Posey, and Kevin Corrigan. Oh, and Boheme? It is too on DVD, silly!
