You know that scene in "Almost Famous" when Cat Stevens' "The Wind" is playing and Kate Hudson is just dancing in the auditorium after the Stillwater show?

That scene could go on forever.

I'm tired Joey Boy
While you're out with the sheep
My life is so troubled
And I can't go to sleep
I would walk myself out
But the streets are so dark
I shall wait till the morning
And walk in the park

This life is so simple when
One is at home
And I'm never complaining
When there's work to be done
Oh I'm...

Honestly, I have a little bit of everything on my mind...just one of those days, you know?? As far as relationships, and what I deserve/want from them, work, money, buying a house, and myself in general, and how I am not happy with the way that I look.
Nothing too outrageous, don't worry, I don't think I need to lose 499 pounds, but I'd like to drop the 10 or 12 I've gained since May....just getting frustrated that I am really wanting to buy a house, but I really need to save up $10K before I do it, and I'm only on about $3K right now.

I did have a blast tonight with some old friends watching the games, so that helped a lot!

How was your day?

I was inspired by a conversation with my friend Celeste. Like a troll at a bridge, I have 3 questions for you:

1. Do you prefer Grease 1 or Grease 2?

2. What is your favorite bad movie?

3. What is your favorite bad song?

Today is a great day!

Today John F. Kerry will be sworn in as our 44th president and the United States can finally pride itself on having the heart and character and courage to live up to the ideals that it we have sworn to uphold but so often fail to. We refused to believe the lies, scare tactics and propaganda of the Bush administration...

Im not quite sure why, but Ive chosen to live in New Jersey my whole life. Almost all of my friends live in Manhattan and regard me as something of a curiosity-like Im a Platypus or something. As if the desire to be at least 40 feet away from a Starbucks makes me a freak of nature. But there are just several things I need...

I had to go back and find a worker's compensation report from the last season of Sopranos tonight for insurance reasons, and for some reason reading a list of worker injuries made me laugh:

Following is a list of Workers Comp Claims from Season 5:

April 10, 2003- Lauren Press (Costume)- fell off a step on the wardrobe truck, bruising her elbow and knee.

April...

Six Feet Under is the only show I HAVE to see on television right now. I really love it. Kathy Bates was in the episode I saw earlier tonight. I love her.

Then I took a bath, then I made a sandwich and sliced skin from my hand with the cheese slicer... bloody sunday, for real. Never done that before. You don't slice cheese in america right, I mean we always use this: http://butik.presentfixer.se/images/102.4211.jpg to cut cheese and put it on out sandwiches or whatever.

One of the "weirdest" thing you have in america - but i had realized you have now sometimes but before, these food bags without handles to carry them in you always saw and see in movies and tvshows and documentaries from the US.... thats just crazy to me. haha! confused

I got a plaster on my thumb and I should go to sleep - as usual this time at night but am I sleepy? no. I'm hopeless right now. Did you know "Tina Fey" got Myspace, this myspace thing is freaky to me, why does everyone have it? Anyway: http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=3988870&Mytoken=20050116161544 , talk to you later.

ARRR!!!
sophie:
he he he. you got all the hot ladies writing to you.

i just wanted to say, thank you for checking in. actually i have an infection and the doctor put me on antibiotics, that's why they wanted to talk to me about my lab results. but thankfully, i can't give what i have to anyone else, and i should be fine in about 10 days time, with the medicine.

so yay!

you're too sweet. thank you again for thinking of me.

I'm looking for a bunch of papers I need for school and hell know where they are... I have found 1 of 3 things. I want to live in a apartment with five things, living with so much stuff everywhere is turning me into a minimalist... wink

Ive decided to take credit for other peoples accomplishments. Its a much easier way to be happy. Rather than working to accomplish anything myself Ill just bask in other peoples accomplishments. I dont know why I didnt do this before. Most people will tell you to hang around losers that make you feel better about yourself. I think its better to hang around people who...

I don't know about ever doing a real photo set....I haven't really worked with many photographers and...well...I don't feel that comftorable getting naked in front of the camera....I did the whole apply to SG thing, but there must be something about me that isn't SG-worthy....that's perfectly ok (if I want to be a teacher)....

I'm not really sure what I'll do while I'm in LA....definitely visit Hollywood and check out the veggie places....maybe go to an SG event if they have one....hang out at the beach....simple stuff....

I was a fat little kid.

A sweaty, fat little kid. And I drank a lot of soda. So was a sweaty, fat caffeinated kid. Who peed a lot.

My sister and I used to spend our summers at my grandmother's house in Budd Lake, NJ because there was lots of trees and land and the aforementioned lake for summer funness. But since I was...

Feeling much better, thanks. I was still feeling a bit highly-strung and my belly was still hurting earlier in the day, which is kind of good 'cos it means it wasn't all due to girly-panic and I'm not completely hopeless. Dunno exactly what it was due to, but probably a general lack of sleep.

Have been a little unproductive today, but that's mostly 'cos I've got a long list of mundane things to get done (that bloody tax return!!) before I can get stuck into the juicy fun stuff. whatever

And how is Chris?
marieceleste:
March into your boss' office unannounced (preferably whilst she/he is in another meeting, and with a secretary in tow exclaiming "I tried to stop him!..."), storm up to the desk, slam down your resignation letter (a sheet of A4 with hand-cut letters "HAnD oVer the KasH or THE kId gET's IT" crossed out and "I quit!" scribbled underneath in apricot shimmer lipstick), calmly ask "Is there anything else I can get you?", ignore all shocked gawping expressions or gasping protests, smile sweetly, then flounce out like Mr. Humpries on Are You Being Served.

This is the story of Buzz Gamble.

Well, first we'll back up a bit. A few years ago some friends of mine, Robin and Linda, who were in a lesbian punk band here in NY, got sick of the whole scene and they moved out to the desert in California. They bought a bar in a town called Pioneertown, which is in Joshua Tree about...
