Woke up feeling slow and confused today; The body decided to stop sleeping after five hours down.

Rod position is especially important to playing strong fish properly. Surfed my way to this: Jordan Mechner's copying the old diary from the days he spent coding Prince of Persia (The original, brilliant 2D platformer, from the 1980s) onto a blog. Fascinating stuff. Makes me think I should be keeping a better journal of my projects.

Back from San Fran.

Caught up with a few old friends. Met a few new. Sampled a bakers dozen liquors at St George's Distillery's tasting bar and liked most of them. Saw The Phantom of the Opera. Slept lots. Went climbing with my old partner.

Just life continuing onwards.

Yeah, I know. It's still a believe-it-when-I-see-it deal. Grand P.R. and glossy, grandiose press releases are a lot cheaper and easier to do than actually putting a bunch of finished cars in the hands of end users.

Tesla is further along than Fisker, but Fisker is in bed with GM to some extent, which could be a huge advantage if GM shares some technology from the Volt. That's a big if, though.

Saw two movies in the last two days and thoroughly enjoyed both.

The new Bond is very smart. The action scenes are quick, brutal, and unornamented, leaving ample time for character development. None of it is squandered. There are nods to the Bond formula, but it's first and foremost a believable, tightly scripted action film. Do see.
