I'm going to give another shout out to Sean because he is just the kind of guy who deserves two. I cannot praise this man's many virtues more.
And remember, kids: A One that is not cold is hardly a One at all.
Man, come to think of it, I should probably have a cold one right now.
I really just had too much stuff...

And so, another day at Superstar comes to a close with only 4 paying customers. *sigh* At least they pay me to sit there all day. And at least Lane comes to visit me. We talked about the evils of threwad and poor spelling. I think I might have to bust out my grammar police badge.
So, what's with people not listening? I'm all like,...

I can't believe I had to work on both my days off.
And I don't have any cash right now because my atm card is gone and they won't send me a new one for another week so I went to Crossroads and tried to sell some clothing and they wouldn't buy it. They said pvc didn't sell well for them. Last year I sold...

but what i don't understand is how they expected to recreate the big bang if cosmological science (them smart folk like sir stevey hawking) has already proved the big bang theory false. (check out the book Masters of time: cosmology at the end of innocence, it kicks ass)
but i agree that "The SSC is the largest and most important science project ever conceived and undertaken by mankind." -Energy and Water Development Appropriation Bill, 102 S. Rpt. 344 (July 27, 1992).
i'm not trying to front or anything (like people that are all about "hey look how much shit i know" 'cause i just learned all this), i've just had nothing to do today so i've just been nerding the fuck out reading stuff)

The big bang theory has not been proven false. That's like saying that photons actually exist. It's like saying the Bohr model is completely wrong. Granted, I have not read what you've read, but the fact that the universe is expanding is fairly steady ground on which to base the idea that something very much *like* the big bang must have happened. I'm not a high-energy physicist (or any sort, for that matter) but the universe starting at one place (um, all places, I guess) and at the beginning of time sounds pretty plausible to me, from what evidence I've seen. Plus, Mr. Hawking told me so.
Okay, so what I meant by that last entry was that I just spent the week in Las Vegas. Yes, I remember all of it.
I'm not really sure where to start. I got to hang out with some of the coolest people on the planet, like Fried (who, I discovered by looking at his profile, has no soul), I got to drink myself sick...

Once my mom took me to a nuclear power plant that had never been finished due to a lack of funding. We drove under the cooling towers and stood inside the core... it was fucking rad.
Next time I'm in Michigan I'll totally check it out. Thanks, man.

I've seen nuclear powered jet engines...there's two of them, not in jets, in the desert, each one is the size of a medium sized apt. building.

Next stop: sunny, beautiful Las Vegas. Ah... the whole year leads up to this week. I get to dress like a slut and no one says a damn thing.
I will be back a week from tomorrow, though I may be able to check in intermitantly. It is a computer nerd convention, after all. Don't miss me more than I will miss you.

So... why is it that ideologies tend to come in groups? Why do so many of the members of Amnesty International also belong to Greenpeace? And why are then vegetarian/vegan? Why is it that so many people who are pro-welfare are also pro-censorship? Why are those who are pro-choice also for affirmative action so much?

I can't make it to Portland for the Troma casting. Ever since I saw that preview for Eve's Beach Fantasy I've been in love with Troma... maybe it's just that I'm in love with Julie Strain.... but probably not.
*sigh*
*sniff*
Maybe such an opportunity will come around again.
I mean... right?
