I bought candy today that looked like sweedish fish but they really weren't. They were gross and waxy. And I'm still eating them. Hey, they're candy, right? It's a sad state of affairs right now. I didn't get so much sleep last night because I'm lame, no good reason, and then in analysis today I felt like I was on drugs, because not only was...

I hate Fibonacci and his stupid sequence.
Especially when I can't figure out how to do the homework. Math lounge for me tonight.
At least I have Summer Cummings on my desktop. What a honey.

Wow. I had a MUCH better time with vector calc than I'm having with crappy number theory.

that's 'cause you're smarter than...well, me, atleast (can't speak for the others)
I think I'm allergic to Portland.
It's the only explanation.

Why haven't I looked at your pictures before? You are absolutely breathtaking. hourglass fantastic. You like sphere titted wonders? Ever seen Eric Stanton drawings? "For the man who knws his place" You should...let me know if ya haven't , I'll send you some delightful little pick me ups when the C gets you down...I went to Northwestern for Biomed engineering...and promptly dropped out two year later...now I do lovely things with computers and design (many drunken years later), I love it:Tech meets art, and unholy marriage, but who wants a holy one?

i didnt know you were in portland!?? when are you going to debut into my life, gorgeous????
So, now that we've established what gets us hot, I'm going to talk about something completely different.
As I was walking back from class today there were these really nice trees that caught my eye. I decided to examine the leaves, as they were the most wonderful shade of green. They were full of patterns. Their edges were fractal and so were their veins, and...

Al takes a deep breath as she realizes she will probably not be able to attend the anniversary party. She sniffles. She had been so excited, and now it's all for naught..... and the catsuit she's been lusting after for years will no longer ben on sale in two days and she is broke. But she can still dream.
And read Descartes.

I was thinking of puting:I'm gonna get a new tattoo black and stretching around my arm Like a life that is visable and real I know, I know it's stupid and immature I just want to give shape to the face
That twists inside Both you and me Breathing fire - doesn't look good on a resume Neither does anything else we do We got to get ready for the real world

if i wasn't in debt i'd buy it for you...the cat suit i mean...
So the two intro classes I'm taking right now are... well, REALLY basic. Which is good, because my brain hurts already. On the other hand I'm taking two 300 level classes and I sit down in there and the guy starts talking and it's as if everyone has already learned it but me. Real analysis wasn't so bad today, but it was the first day...

starting pay for most people with just oracle database programming skills is like 70k, and it's pretty easy to learn if you're any kind of smart and/or good with systems...i mean, shit, my mom started with it (oracle) only like 2 years ago and she learned the stuff so well shes teaching it now (i'm serious)

Free advice for all, stay away from com degrees for awhile, especially anything related to advertising. The market is saturated, especially in Seattle. 6 years in school at one of the premier com programs in the country and I have no marketable job skills or anything to distinguish lil old me from the thousands of other com and advertising majors. suck
catsuits are cool

Oh my god. The Ring holds nothing over my fear of what is to come this year.
I'm in way over my head.
But like, what am I even doing with my life? I should be out winning friends and influencing people, or having people pay me to take my picture, or climbing the rock at REI, or learning how to poke needles with ink...

I watched the scariest movie in the universe last night: The Ring, Japanese, 1997. Yes, the one that's coming out in this country on October 18th is a remake.
I made Sean sleep in my bed with me. I was so freaked, but then, so was everyone else who watched it. Christ.

Sorry, overreacting. I'll be in class in 12 hours and I'm a little high strung.
So what *I* hate is the fire alarm. That dirty double-crossing bitch. It went off once at 9 and then stopped, and then 45 minutes later it went off again. And then stopped. And then went off. Stopped. On. Off. On. Off...... for 20 fucking minutes. Now I can't sleep! It's time to get up!
Gosh darnit.

The first time I ever experienced a fire drill at college was also the first time i tried having cybersex with my boy. The fire drill went off, and I had to go downstairs and outside, naked and wrapped up in a blanket, and stand there for half an hour hoping desperately that no one would talk to me/want to share the blanket.
It was a very "morgan" moment.

rawr_ima_monster:
Ironically, the first tiem the fire alarm went off at my school was very similar to Morgan's, but with no cybersex. I was in the shower, and when I got out, there was an alarm, and everyone in the whole hall was ...gone...(echo). It was like those old (inser corporation here) commercials, wher ethe guy walks around and everyone's gone and says "WHERE IS EVERYBODY?!". It was creepy, and I went outside in pajama pants and the towel. it sucked.
Oh well, at least I didn't have to worry that much abotu tests and stuff. Art school's hard, but not in the same way. good luck with all that liberal art and whatever.

I bought candy today that looked like sweedish fish but they really weren't. They were gross and waxy. And I'm still eating them. Hey, they're candy, right? It's a sad state of affairs right now. I didn't get so much sleep last night because I'm lame, no good reason, and then in analysis today I felt like I was on drugs, because not only was it confusing, but at times it sounded like the prof wasn't even saying words. Ugh. I don't feel so bad about it, though, because the smartest girl in the world sits next to me and she said she was confused. I sat next to her last semester in linear algebra, too, and there was this one time we got our tests back, they were out of 36, and I looked down at mine and it had a 6 on it. He then tells us that 80% of the class got less than 10. So I don't feel so bad, right? But then I look over at this other girl's paper and she's gotten a 29. And then she's like, "oh, but you did good!" and not being sarcastic. She's SO nice and always willing to help me with my homework, but I still have a tiny itty bitty bit of resentment for her. How could I not? I covet her intelligence. What do we covet? We covet what we see every day.
I'm not getting any younger.

Man... there are few things more terrible than faux Swedish fish. Such an atrocity, a crime against humanity. Like a cruel joke God is playing on those of us who truly love Swedish fish. Sad thing is, I end up eating them all as well when I accidentally buy them. Not getting any younger? What is that about?

OK, you got me.

Good luck. Hope you have Prof. Erdman---he's good.
I still would maintain that linear algebra is easy, as advanced undergrad math goes. The key for me was realizing that linear algebra is to transformation geometry as analytic geometry is to Euclidean geometry.
Sorry about that!
