I went to my eviction trial today, but didn't need to appear before the judge, as my lawyer and the slumlord negotiated between themselves. I can stay until May 2 rent free. 2 1/2 months gives me plenty of time to pack my shwag up and say, "Good Riddance, Chateau Shit!"
