Do you remember the first Star Trek movie? It feature a stunning Indian woman, Persis Kambata I think, who towards the end of the movie becomes taken over by the computers abourd the Voyager satelite. At that point her head is shaved and she is shockingly beautiful.

What blows my mind is how gorgeous you are at every step of the way. You seriously can rock any amount of hair and look stunning. I especially like the length just before Billy C comes in with the vocals but you look amazing with it all gone too. You're lucky - you have a beautifully shaped head. Not too many people can rock the bald.

I know all about that. The only thing I came across that I find even mildly concerning is it said something about having to grind their nails down once a week or something to that effect... and that i also need to brush their teeth daily. Do you brush your dogs teeth daily? How are greenies for them?

It sounds like all your reasons for doing it are really positive reasons, and your only hesitancy is due to having to deal with people who might not get it. And even people who might not understand it will still have to admit that you're gorgeous, hair or no hair.
I love having a shaved head - it's so much easier to deal with in the morning, and you're always the first one to know if it starts to rain!

My dear, you will always have my total respect. For all you have been through, for all you have done, for who you are, for what you want to accomplish, for what you don't even realize yet that you can accomplish, you have my unyielding support, love and respect. That will not go away.
Truth be told, I like both sides of you, though I have only seen the happier side of you in person so far, even if I caused you to have that look at me, I would still appreciate it (maybe not at the moment
) because it is a part of you.
Having both polar opposites in one person makes it difficult, but it is not impossible. I used to only see black & white, and only be b&w. You were either my friend or enemy, or at least potential enemy. There was no middle ground for me. K_Rex helped me see and understand the potential for a middle ground. It took a while for me to feel that I could trust her, but once I finally realized that I could, I began feeling totally confident that I could reveal all my worries, concerns, fears and hopes and know she would not judge me, she would help me, and I could then move past my inability to see gray. Now, i know my life has been nowhere near as trying as yours, but if you can find that one person that will unconditionally care about you and love you, and you can put total trust in that person, then you will be able to let go. until you can trust that person, until you feel comfortable trusting that person, it will be most difficult to do this.
