I've been longing to play again. When I moved to New Mexico I only came here with two suitcases and my cat. Lately when I listen to a violin it causes me to weep because I miss that feeling so much.

Do you know what I mean?

Playing a violin can allow you to feel like you are flying. You lose yourself in the...

We must hear you play :-)  I used to play around with it… No formal training… Everything I play I play by ear but I would love to hear you play!!

I have wanted for years to learn to play the violin, hearing your love for it certainly increases that desire to fly on those notes

I woke up yesterday morning to an unexpected message from @sunshine letting me know that she had added me to the guest list for the Albuquerque show. I hadn't been planning on attending, but she totally hooked it up!

✨ Pimpin' as only a weird little flamingo can. ✨

The venue was absolutely beautiful. Since moving to New Mexico, largely, I have been starved for interesting

Yay ❤️

The PNBR is this weekend! Is anyone going?

If you live any where nearby I highly recommend checking it out. I'm bummed to miss this milestone (10 years!) so if you snag some pics, please share them and hit me with a tag. I intend to live vicariously as hard as the internet will allow.

Philadelphia, I've got nothing bu(t)t love...

@infinity some people purposefully plan their wedding after these other photos went viral. There was one woman who posted on the event page the day of hoping to find someone who was ordained that was going to be there to renew her vows.

No, but I am sure the nudiest Portland bike ride!

Back in November of 2016 after I first got sick, I went down to Florida on an extremely naïve adventure. I had been friends with SG Mrytle online for years, but we had never met. She was generous enough to offer me a place to stay when I had no where. While I was there I was introduced to a singer called Aurora. A handful...

Huh, got a little blurry reading this! How very cool of you both, @chef for the gift & you for sharing. Nice to see the good side of this community in action! Enjoy the cd, I’ll be checking Spotify!

So sweet and heartfelt!

It is a rare day in New Mexico. The rain started last night and it went for around 8 hours. The entire sky is gray and there are drips lingering on the edge of things. Those two things are enough to remind me of home. It would often rain for days, even weeks on end. You wouldn't see the sun. Everything was forever washed...

Very odd how 3 of US worst alien vegetation predators originated in western Philly area: stink bug, spotted lantern fly, and emerald ash borer. All Chinese origin brought in on raw untreated wood shipping pallets. At one time QVC was eyed as the source. The Philly Harrisburg air cargo corridor as well. And since the palleted goods are stockpiled in local warehouses it was only time before the invasion began. They literally have no natural US predators! Woodpeckers, nuthatches and jays sometimes pick larvae out of infected trees, but by then the damage is fatal. I witnessed the Dutch Elm demise as a child. Now I’m seeing extinction of stately Ash before my very eyes 😒

@robertbluesman I hope you're doing everything you can to find and smash eggs. That's what I've seen being pushed locally. It's crazy. I'm worried what I'll find when I come back, honestly.

It's the Philly in me.

If I show I'm fragile
Would you go ahead and find somebody else?
And if I act too tough, know that I care bout you
I'm honest, no offense
No, I could never fake it
Like players always playing
Arrest me if I hurt you
But no apologies for being me
I just wanna be pure
You...

@spiderman66 Wait... how do you know about that? Did you somehow find the poetry I wrote at 14 on one of your 'aficionado' hunts!?

Let's just call it intuition....😉😎

I was in need of another shot of shinrin-yoku. So yesterday I headed off once again to the Las Conchas trailhead in the Jemez Mountains. This time I arrived earlier and was able to hike a little bit further than I did the first time. Since my visit three weeks ago, things have really popped off! There are so many more wildflowers. This time I...
