I've always looked at the #13 as a contrarian and chosen to consider it lucky. Friday, it played out rather well. I normally metro into the office, but opted for a bike ride for the first time in over a month on a somewhat cooler morning. As it turned out there were two fires in the main station on the Metro line I normally take. I was pretty darn happy about making the different choice. A lot of other folks had a miserable Friday the 13th!

Thanks for dropping by. Actually I'm pretty stressed from work lately. I've got a cold sore breakout the like of which I haven't had since high school and i think the stress may be a contributing factor.

Give Selket a birthday hug from me. It was good seeing you again too. I was worried that I reeked of auto parts when I walked in. It was a wonderful art show. I just wish I could have tweaked my schedule a little bit better so I could have arrived before it started and been able to stay till it ended. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up at another event and have some talking time.
