i put on weight after i got my navel pierced. i didn't have a roll, but whenever i sat down, my pants would always catch on it... which i guess could happen to anyone, not necessarily just larger girls... anyway... it never healed, was always sore, so i eventually gave up on it... now i have a horrible red scar...

Another thing... I'm planning on doing a fair amount of exercise (jogging & some weights) this summer to get in shape -- not enough to lose a ton of weight (which I've heard can make tummies unhappy), but enough that I'll probably get all gross and sweaty a lot. Will this slow down the healing process?

OK, so clearly there's no such thing as a piercing that is exclusively for one gender or the other. Specific genital piercings may be only available to people with the right kind of genitals, but even that doesn't necessarily make them gendered: there's no reason why a trans man shouldn't have a nifty VCH or a trans woman shouldn't absolutely rock a Prince Albert.
