I worked overnight in a Target for like twelve years. Hated it. Lol.

I had 2 times where I worked overnight shifts (planned, not counting working at McDonalds and getting out at 2:30 to 3:00 AM). One summer while in college I did overnights at the USPS, sorting mail (5 days a week). The consistent schedule (11 PM to 7:30 AM) made things easier and driving the opposite way of rush hour traffic was nice. But it did have a huge impact on doing anything and made sleeping rough.

The second time was also when in college (grad school) and I worked part-time at a grocery store. I had overnight shifts as cashier. It wasn't too bad, as I got to listen to music and had to re-stock the candy on the front end (and cash out the random customer who came in). I enjoyed being by myself and found most customers were pretty nice actually (since they are probably used to not seeing people, so they would actually talk to you as a person). I was also by a big college, so that made it even more fun.

The tough part was also working days and having day classes. I even had times where I would start at 11:30 PM, get out at 8 AM to be back in at 2:30 PM (until 9 PM). Those days sucked! Or get out at 8 AM to return at 5:30 PM to work pushing carts. All very difficult times. Also caused my sleep schedule to be totally screwed up, including weeks at a time where I would sleep no more than 4 hours at a time.

While I do miss some of the people (and I'm natural nocturnal), I do enjoy a consistent schedule now. It makes sleeping and planning for things a lot easier, that is for sure! And I can have a life now as well!

Good points here. Being nervous is natural and you could look at it as really liking said person. For me, it’s the honesty and a person’s telling eyes that makes me want to get to really know someone. Also for me, hands are a very informative feature on a person (speaking girls here and of course if they have any….have to be caringly inclusive) at how well they take care of themselves, if they put the extra care presentative wise for your date, and how they touch, be it themselves, your arm etc. Listening…….we have two ears and one mouth, use them in correlation. In all, be yourself and you’ll know when the second date is a must!! Good luck my friend🍻
