Oh sweet hangover of christ, they're getting worse. It's all that red wine, I'm telling ya, those toys planned this all along, they get me drinking wine, then when I'm semi-conscious they'll take over the world!!!
Ok, maybe I'm over reacting, they are plastic after all... maybe they'll just take Bristol.
I've been buying even more junk from the net. I can't help it, once ou buy one thing from Ebay you can't stop, you end up bidding on things just to stop your Ebay page looking empty. 'I'll just bid an extra 50p I'll never win tha... shit.' And before you know it your surrounded by little dancing Japanese toys, mocking your attempts to play retro games on a 2 plugin 'n' play control, drinking wine from novelty glasses that you bought because they where marginally bigger than normal ones, whilst sipping beer from a can holding hat in between the wine and the funny looking green stuff from Beijing. Thats when you wake up with hangovers like mine... And I really don't care anymore, they can take Bristol for all it matters, if it cures my head ache, why not throw in a bit of Bolton as well, just for good measure.
On a lighter, less insane note, I've got a show coming up on Friday... and I AM SHITTING MYSELF. I think I'm going to go for a slightly more musical stand up this time. I'll use my guitar and keyboard and see how it goes. I think they're recording this show aswell so if it goes well I might post some pics or something.
Also I've just realised my date of birth is wrong... Everytime I logged in I was like,'25? I'm 24, not 25, who wrote that the stupid tw... oh, right... that would be me then, bugger'. I was wondering why I was the only Libran born if Febuary.
Thank god at least I've got some time off work. I haven't had a break in a lifetime, hopefully it'll give me a chance to write some more material, it gives me a little more time to prepare for my next show.
Well, I'm going to have to come offline now before I get the urge to buy anyting else.
See ya
Ben

and my journal was not ment to say that the people who lost loved ones in london don't matter, by any means. i just find it frustrating which moments of death and distruction people focus one. I find it frustrating that we, as people, pick and choose what we think are disasters to focus on. we get "used to" death that happens on a daily basis, and suddenly it becomes less important. i also find that the more foreign the disaster, the less likely people are to feel much about it. There isn't as a strong a disconnect between america and the uk. we speak the same language, and many ways of like are very similar. but the difference between america or london and the middle east is vast. and because we have a hard time relating to their way of life it is easier to brush off the terror that happens there are commonplace and the norm.
