I try not to go off on rants but sometimes well yah.

This site is about hot naked modified women, the celebration of them and their bodies. The ttile bar may only list tattoos and piercings but really when it comes down to it tattoos, scarification, piercings, implants (microdermals and otherwise) are all something that a person gets when they want to look different than they do.

They might think to themselves I want to look into the mirror every morning and see my little girls name looking back at me and have it tattooed on their arm. They might think my face would look so much better than it is already with little bits of metal sticking through it in a regular pattern. They might want to feel what it's like to have the skin flayed from them so the scar grows back in a pattern that they find pleasing. They might want bigger boobs.

These things are no different than each other, non more or less worthy than the rest. They are all modifications to bring the reality of their bodies in line with what they imagine or desire to be true. As long as it's being done from a true thought out personal desire for change in ones self then it's all good. That should be the standard of care by practiciioners of all these arts. Have you really thought about it, are you sure that you want this forever? Yes I do realize that many of these things are reversible now and more will be in the future, but that doesn't change that this standard should be applied because the real question this implies is, "Is this the person you see yourself as?" rather than "Is this the person someone else wants you to be right now?"

Telling someone they shouldn't have one of these things done is no different in my eyes than telling them they should. It's saying to them "Your view of how you should be is less worthy than my view of how you should be."

It's why I would never pay for someone else's body mod, it's like saying I think you should do this if only by the fact that I agree with this one enough to give you money for it rather than that other one I wouldn't pay for.

Anyways, my two cents.

I rarely read such long posts, because it's quite difficult for me. However, it sucked me in me. what was particularly interesting question which I ask each new person in tattoo studio - are you doing it for yourself or for someone? I myself, sometimes when I am tired, sad and alone I wonder - if this is real me. Or maybe someone that is absolutely different. and I never remember if doing it is to find yourself or to lose it.
