So for the past 6 weeks I have been doing Boxing/cardio sessions 3 or 4 times a week and I'm really enjoying it. I decided to give up drinking and weed and have been following a low carb meal plan that is made up of pretty normal foods and is pretty easy to stick to. So far I have lost about 20 pounds and can fit into some good jeans just in time for winter. I'm a complete tight ass so I don't want to buy more clothes when I have plenty to fit into.
Only one thing that is crap and thats running. I hate it! I used to run all the time, in fact I used to be a marathon runner (for fun, not a pro or anything) But time has caught up with me and the ankle injuries I sustained in my mid 20's form an epic car wreck, have left running rather painful and not as enjoyable as it once was. But I still love getting out and punching shit out of some pads and the other cardio stuff that goes along with it.
Heading into mid winter I may have to invest in some sexy leggings so I don't freeze to death in the sub 5 degree Fahrenheit temperatures.
I have yet to tell anyone about this new fitness program as I want people to be genuine and notice that I have lost weight, if they knew they might be tempted to be polite and give empty compliments. But if they say something and without knowing I have been putting a lot of efforts into it then it will be real and it will make me feel awesome and I have a wedding to attend this weekend and I'm really looking forward to letting my hair down and having a few drinks with friends and relaxing. I'm sure it will take 3 glasses of Seabreeze and I will be toast, that should be fun for all concerned. Wish me luck!
