Yeah that's possible! It's being listed as on option for a gaming rigs by Digital Storm. I remember reading something on their website awhile ago that 8 core processors can more than handle VR. But their most recent "Aventium X" lists 4 different options for cpu and the minimum is 8 cores! Like. They actually have one build option with a 32 core CPU. I'm pretty sure that's a gross excess of processing power and while I can understand the marketing angle I'm a little confused by the practical gaming needs of 18 cores... 32 is just. I remember a friend explaining that creating and editing the models is (as a rule) twice as demanding on a computer so maybe it's for content creators.
