I wouldn't necessarily say October, but generally The Ring series (the original from Japan) and "House of thousand corpses" or the classics like Nightmare on Elm Street or Halloween.

@miloszbeardlove I do love the originals better than the American versions. There have been some decent adaptions which seemed to explain a little more, but the original Japanese versions were by far more creepy and worthwhile. Occasionally Americans get something right, but most of the remakes don't ever hit the same notes and feel like a toned down money grab.
